Robert Byrd started his first business before he graduated from high school. He brought 4 business ventures to profitability before forming Truewater. In addition to his visionary ideas, he has a knack for identifying, attracting and keeping talented individuals. His unflappable, level headed, determination fosters a motivating drive within those individuals around him that allows them to realize more success than they could achieve on their own.

Robert Byrd is a self made man with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. He possesses a broad and sophisticated knowledge of electronics allowing him to do everything from experimenting with robotics as a hobby to designing and implementing an audio video laboratory for Houston Independent School District. He is, also, a master craftsman with talents so varied that he can craft and paint models, restore cars, or build custom furniture.

He has 15 years experience in hardware, network, & software configuration, Microsoft OS platforms, backup implementation, virus protection, remote access, remote installations and remote management. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional, holds an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) License and was a member of Audio Engineering Society from 1989 to 1996. He has certifications in Ascend Router, MS Office Integration, Installing and Configuring MS Windows NT server 4.0, Internet Solutions, and Windows 2000 Server.
