In this position, you will be using Kaseya
Remote Management software to actively monitor
network and desktops for faults and alarms. You
will respond swiftly to all inbound calls from
clients and all software alerts, repairing or
escalating issues as appropriate.
Truewater designs, implements, and maintains technology for our business clients.
Advancements in remote management software now give us the ability to provide an even
higher level of IT support. Your position will be helping provide this remote managed
care for our business clients.

- When you do not know the answer to a technical troubleshooting question, list three online
sites you use for help, other than search engines.
- How many times have you independently setup a workstation which includes
[installing from scratch an operating system, drivers, joining to a business
network and configuring the user account], excluding mass deployment and imaging tools?
- To effectively troubleshoot a printing problem in a business environment, what
things would you want to know? Your answer must be above and beyond the rudimentary
printer issues of checking for paper, toner, power, or printer cable connection.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond to and communicate with users on IT helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
- Document service requests with status updates and new information
- Escalate and follow through all IT helpdesk tickets which require more technical expertise
- In charge of making sure all end user devices (PCs, phones, peripherals) are running properly
- Assist field consultants in planning, designing, and deploying all server platforms and network infrastructure and applications
- Any other duties deemed necessary as directed by management
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP operating system
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000/2003 (especially MS Outlook)
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Experience with Anti-Virus applications such as McAfee
- Familiarity with Windows Server 2000/2003 and Active Directory
- Familiarity with Network Protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc.)
- Familiarity with Network Applications such as VPN, Routers, Switches, etc.
- Strong documentation skills
- Strong problem solving skills, research capabilities, and time management skills
- Excellent organizational skills (punctuality and timeliness a must) CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certifications a plus
